Between the Lines is a photography project exploring my history and experiences in the laestadian community, making the journey from the Sámi-born roots of the movement to the significant places of the community.
The project uses experimental documentary photography with symbols of laestadianism, my own experience of the movement and the Sámi culture.
The project was chosen as the Pictures of the Month by Northern Photographic Centre, Oulu and was seen there in May 2021.
